Honda XR600R

The XR600R (1998) was bought as a ‘dual-sport’.

I sold my KLX as it wasn’t really cutting it, I also traded the WR250 at that point.

The KLX funded the XR, the WR helped with that and paid for the Supermoto wheels.

The nice thing about the XR with this setup was that I could take swap the wheels over on a Sunday and take the bike to work on the Monday.

I could drive it to work all week, then swap back to off-road format and have a great dirt bike.

The wheels were ordered from White Bros in the USA, I put a Pro-circuit pipe on it, Scott Summers fork brace and Twin-air air filter.

I also put a 11:1 hi-comp Wiseco in it which gave the bike more torque but not a noticeable power hike.

Oddly the bike made more power with 8 plates in the SuperTrapp than wide open.
