Trans America Trail - 2008

Review – Touratech eTrex (colour) mount.

• A good mount, better than the Ram mount but more expensive (Touratech ain’t cheap!)
• The rubber damping seemed to work as the vibrations didn’t affect my eTrex.
• The mount plate bent slightly when I clamped it down but nothing serious.
• The mounting never came lose no matter the terrain. I did loop the lanyard back over the whole mount just in case though.
• There is a lockable version too (costs more though!)
