Trans America Trail - 2008
Review – Tyres used on the TAT.
Stock – Bridgestone ‘Death-Wings’ (Trailwing)
tyres. Not so good, maybe as a street tyre where
you may go off-road along good quality gravel roads but otherwise avoid. The sooner
changed the better!
Next
up were the continental TKC ‘twinduros’.
These
were as good as anything and handled good on the road too.
They
did wear down pretty quick though.
I
had this Kenda put on in
The
Conti rear was finished but the front was ok so I left that on.
The
rear felt a lot better on the roads after that.
