Trans America Trail - 2008

Review – Wolfman tank bag.

This was an excellent purchase. I moved all my spares and heavy gear into this bag in Moab and then I was only travelling with this and the duffel. I think this is enough for a trip like this.

The bag had a map pocket on the top which worked well and could extend upwards.

It didn’t get in the way too much but it does prevent you from moving far forward.

The mounting of the bag relies on a strap around the neck of the bike, behind the steering shaft.

This has two clips on it that run around the filler cap of the tank.

At the rear there is a strap that runs across the seat and around the frame tubes.

This has two clips on it too. Both straps stay on the bike.

The front two clips come off and the bag tilts back to refill the tank.

Simple and effective.
